How frequently do I need to book appointments?
This depends on each client, their goals, and the severity of their symptoms they wish to tackle. Typically clients start with sessions weekly or biweekly when we begin, and gradually decrease the frequency of sessions as they find relief and results.
How long does it take to feel results?
This depends on each client, however, using brain-based interventions such as EMDR and Brainspotting, clients typically start feeling shifts and changes within the first couple of sessions.
How long is your waitlist?
This changes based on the season, but if my wait list is open, I typically aim to have my waitlisted clients in to see me within 10 weeks of being added.
Do you offer online services?
I do! I see clients in far-flung places so online has proven to be very helpful in terms of accessibility and flexibility. EMDR and Brainspotting are incredibly effective online as well as in person.
Are your services covered with insurance?
This depends on each insurance provider and which plan you're covered with. My services are generally covered by Medavie Blue Cross, Sunlife, and other insurance providers who cover Registered Counselling Therapists. Check in with your specific plan to see.
What is your confidentiality policy?
All sessions are entirely confidential, with the exception of if there is perceived danger for the client, or others around them. When required to speak to other health professionals on my clients' behalf, I always discuss with them what information they are comfortable with me disclosing, and what they wish to remain confidential.
Who do you work with?
I work with folks across the life span, but predominantly I work with adults and youth. My practice is inclusive of all gender expressions, sexual identities, and relationship structures. I welcome all clients with varying strengths, challenges, mental health statuses, and lived experiences including:
- PTSD/CPTSD
- BPD

Do you offer professional development?
I offer professional development and workshops to schools and organizations wishing to make their workplaces/learning environments more inclusive and trauma-informed. Contact me for specific workshop/training options.
What do I do if I wish to file a complaint?
